New Digital Delights Challenge - Anything Goes


It's time for another Digital Delights Challenge and as always it's an 'anything goes' challenge.  You can find all the details here on the challenge blog.

New from LC Designs - Dinkies Cat Tree Stamp


Brand new from LC Designs is this Dinkies stamp 'Cat Tree' - you can find it here on their website.

I've also used one of the papers from the new 'Kraft Doodle' paper pack pack which is here on the website.  The script on this paper says 'with love' and is printed in white on the kraft background.

I've die cut the stamped image with a Memory Box stitched circle die, matted another circle behind and then used a Spellbinders die for the final layer.  I finished the card with some pearls.

New from Miss Daisy Stamps - Beautiful Day

New from Miss Daisy Stamps is the very cute 'Beautiful Day' digi stamp - isn't she sweet?

You can find her on the website here.

As soon as I saw the digi stamp I immediately thought of gingham, hence my background!  I used a red and brown colour scheme and added some punched hearts to follow the little hearts in the fence and some punched dots.  My image and the red layer underneath were die cut with stitched circle dies from Memory Box.

For this card I've used one of the LC Designs tag cards which you can find here on the website.  I've used the smaller cat image, the sentiment and the pawprint, all stamped using black Versafine.

New from LC Designs - The Purrfect Combination


Brand new from LC Designs is 'The Purrfect Combination' stamp set - here's what you get in the set:

I've stamped the main tree and sentiment using black Versafine ink on to paper from Craft Creations and added three die cut clouds from a new Joy Craft set.  I've finished the card with some black gems.

GDT Card for Sasayaki Glitter - Swimmer Elly


Today I'm very excited to be sharing a card I've made as a GDT for Sasayaki Glitter!

I've used the very cute digi stamp 'Swimmer Elly' which you can find here in their Etsy shop.  I coloured the digi stamp with Promarkers and using grey card and pink paper from Craft Creations together with some Card Candi and some punched flowers.

I'm sharing one of the cards I designed for my last LC Designs class using the 'Wavy Log Cabin' stamp set which you can find here on the website.

It's a three panelled card and I stamped part of the main image on to the three panels of white card - if you look at the close up photos below, you'll see that there's an overlap between the image panels but I like having three little scenes like this.

New Cardz 4 Galz Challenge - Butterflies or Dragonflies

I'm sharing another of the cards I designed for a demonstration at the stamping club I belong.  The theme was upcycling and I demonstrated some background techniques using household items.

The background for this card was made using cling film and Distress Inks - Milled Lavender and Tumbled Glass.

I used two sizes of Memory Box butterfly dies for the design and a sentiment from Visible Image.

New Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge - Words

I'm sharing one of the cards I designed for a little demo at the stamp club I belong to.  The theme was 'upcycling' and I made a series of cards using household items to create backgrounds.

This one was made using bubble wrap - I applied Distress Ink to the bubble wrap and then pressed some card over the top.

My card is one of those I designed for my last LC Designs class.  It's a gatefold card with a band around it to keep it in place.  You can see the closed card above and this is how it looks when it's opened out:

Making Cards Magazine


I'm very excited to have three of my cards using the LC Designs Christmas wavy stamp sets featured in the new edition of Making Cards magazine which has just been published:


Today I'm sharing one of the cards using the 'Wavy Village Scene' stamp set from LC Designs which you can find here on their website.  I split both both the main image and one of the sentiments using masking tape placed over the stamps when inking.

The base card I've used is from LC Designs here and the paper is from their 'Snowy Ombre' paper pack which is here on the website.  I've added some gems and glitter glue to finish the card.

New Fantasy Stampers Challenge - At the Beach

I've used a set of stamps that I've had for many years - 'Lily at the Beach' from Pink Cat Studio.  I've used two of the character stamps and one of the sentiments.

New from Digital Delights - BoBo Betty Set


Today it's the turn of Team 2 to share some inspiration using the brand new August digi stamp releases from Digital Delights!

I've made a card using the 'BoBo Betty' set which is here.  I coloured the image with Promarkers and used some paper from my stash with gems and Card Candi.
